    In fourth grade, I made straight A's for the entire year except for handwriting. I made F's every single grading period. Fifteen years later, I was working as a cashier and Mrs. Hayden came through my line and wrote a check. As I was hastily scribbling down her information on the back, she said, "I see your handwriting has not improved, Miss Parton."
