New sea turtle nest in Santa Rosa Beach Florida
One year ago, the BP oil spill devastated our beaches and our economy. This morning, a glimmer of new beginnings, as a mommy sea turtle made her way up the beach to make a nest. This will be the 24th nest in our area this season. Far surpassing the dismal sea turtle season of 2010.
Life goes on after a disaster, even for these simple creatures. And it's nice to know, in the end, these little gifts from above can bring us all a dose of HOPE!
