Bocaue Pagoda Festival also known as Bocaue River Festival is celebrated every first Sunday of July in honor of the Holy Cross found in the river 200 years ago. Pagoda is a decorated barge with small boats around it. They place the replica of the crosss that was found 200 years ago at the top of the pagoda.  In July 2, 1993 a tragedy happened during the festival that killed around 300 individuals. During the accident, a 10 year old boy named Sajid helped 4 kids. Sajid died but he's heroism is admired. They build a statue in honor of him (last photo).
