    The worst vacation ever

    Food Poisoning?

Every year for 5 years my family has gone to Michigan International Speedway to watch the NASCAR race.

In 2007 we went and it was the first vacation that my boyfriend went with us. I thought it ws going to be so much fun having him with me and there's just so much more to do there on a Saturday then around home. Not to mention I thought he'd have a great time at the race Sunday.

We got to the hotel about an hour before we could check in. So we went to Wendy's to get something to eat so once we checked in we could relax after the long car ride. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. Everyone else just ordered normal sandwiches.

That night I wasn't feeling too good. But we went and played Putt-Putt at the little place near the hotel. It was hot and the sun was out in full force so I kept feeling bad. Thankfully they had a building with A/C so I went in there and played some of their little video games.

Sunday morning we had to get up super early due to how far away from the track we stayed. We had to get gas before though so we got food...I got yogert. As I ate I kept feeling sicker and sicker.

Before the race started I had already thrown up in the bathroom they had 3 times...and I threw up in the bushes once. I think that's the first time in a while that I had felt that bad, but I couldn't lay down or anything because I wasn't at home. I was suppose to be having a great time on vacation.

I did go up to our seats and I sat there for a short time and I just couldn't stand being in the sun. Thankfully under the stands was just so much cooler. Theres a fence under the stands and if you sit against that you can still see the track. So my boyfriend asked an older man if I could sit beside him because I wasn't feeling too well. He made room for me and I took my blanket and made myself a little spot. He talked to me and was very nice. There was a couple from Canada on the other side and they kept an eye on me and offered me some of their bottled water they brought with them.

So in total I only really seen about 2 laps of the race...I sat by mself while my boyfriend sat with my family...

The vacation overall was just so bad that I couldn't wait to go back this June....but we didn't get a chance to because my step dad lost his job before Chirstmas so there was no way we could get the money to get tickets, hotel rooms and everything else.

I must say thanks to those people I didn't know who were so nice to me. I just wish I could have sat with my family and had fun.
