I too am saddened by the news. I've been a devout fan for about 8 years now, never missing a show in my regional area. I've also had the pleasure of having a working relationship with members of the band and road crew. They are a tight knit family and it is a very difficult time for them.

Last night was difficult for all I'm sure because it was tough to watch the guys play their hearts out for Roi. There were moments (especially during "Proudest Monkey") when some of the guys were just overcome with emotion.. but played on. I felt for Carter as he shed tears, during the song. It was difficult to watch but as an enormous fan and part of their extended family, I felt lucky to be with them on such an emotional night.
