How I Became A Fearless Woman
Know what I could do without? These constant hurdles on my way throughout the day. Life isn't easy but then if it were, I'd probably be a Nellie Olsen. Instead I'd like to imagine myself as a Mary Ingles. A Survivor...
OK, I 'Pulled a Pam' today and wanted to get things done nonstop. Today as I was getting ready, going up and downstairs, I turned to walk when my heel twisted throwing me off balance and w/the back of my head landing on the edge of my bedside oak table. ~ I just don't always stop to remember that I'm limited as far as having to concentrate on my walking. There are days when I'd just like to go nonstop and accomplish a 'normally healthy person's' errands. I don't take into account that approximately 33 years ago as a result of a car accident, I smashed my head so hard that I was unconscious for 5 weeks. There are times when I just won't cut myself any slack.
Life sure isn't easy, but these are just tests attempting me to throw in the towel. NO WAY!!!!!!
Pamela was left physically challenged after a car accident when she was in her twenties but she hasn't let that stop her in life. She has been featured in 'Fearless Women: Midlife Portraits' written by Nancy Alspaugh and Marilyn Kentz and photographs by Mary Ann Halpin and she hasn't stopped there. She authored her own book 'How I Became A Fearless Woman,' has been on General Hospital and is working on her second book. Please support her for her next role out there possibly a permanent actor on a soap.
Pamela will be taping with me live at my radio show featuring her in her own segment coming up next week at http://livestream.com/womenempowermentshow.
