Rep. Tubbs Jones at RBC Meeting
It is funny how a unexpected event like this can strike you simply because of a passing moment you shared with a person.
I encountered Rep. Tubbs Jones at May's DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting, where she spoke on behalf of the "American public" at an impromptu news conference during the lunch break.
I was there as a photographer, and jockeying for a position to snap a shot of her and catching only one from between TV cameras (with Tina Flournoy, above), I ended up with my favorite photo of the day, an abstracted snap from behind taken from about a foot away.
