    Heatwave in Iceland - more than 15 degrees on the celcius


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ander sent us this video of the beach in Reykjavik, Iceland, from July 17, 2011, when temperatures reached a warm 65 degrees Farenheit. He comments, 'It was a great day, and very festive atmosphere at the beach and in downtown Reykjavik. People go to the beach every time the weather is good.'

    Today it is very hot in Reykjavik,Iceland.

    Being up far north on our little planet,the Icelanders call it a " heatwave "

    The temperature was around 15 to 18 degrees on the celcius.

    The beach in Reykjavik was packed with people enjoying the warm weather ,and many where downtown having great fun .
