We're Stranded in our condo in Cape Canaveral, FL
These photos, taken from my balcony, show the 5-acre lake (located a block from the ocean) has overflowed into the roads leading in and out of our condos, Solana Lakes and Solana Shores. There are 4 wooden walkways leading out into the lake to the swimming pool....all the walkways are covered with about 21 inches of water...and all the roads leading in and out of Solana Lakes and Shores are closed due to overflow. We are located next door to Ron Jon's Caribe Resort and they are stranded as well.... Roads leading into our condo, Ron Jon's Resort, the Gambling Ships Terminals are blocked off (The name of the road leading into our area is Shorewood Drive and George King Blvd.) A video will be sent shortly.
