During the election in Memphis, TN of the 9th Congressional district I met Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs- Jones at Niki Tinker Headquarters. She was phone banking  and I walked  up to her and starting talking. She was so nice that I just thought she was someone that came from Washington to assist and was glad.  Later I found out  who she was and I was kinda scared to ask her to come to my home for a fundraiser later that day. Well I was so shocked that she did and she was so nice. I told her that is she was ever back in Memphis again I would have a southern style dinner.

Stephanie went into my neighborhood and met a lot of my neighbors.  I took this picture ( one of many) with one of my neighbors and Ms. Tinker's mom.  

Little did I know what a  blessing I was to have met this wonderful woman.  Even after she left Memphis I was still able to talk to her.  We have lost a great person  and everyone should mourn her passing.
