    The Shuttle Landing

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Sherry Hawthorne and her husband sat outside of their RV, ate breakfast and watched the shuttle landing on TV early this morning in Apopka, Florida, which is roughly 50 miles from Kennedy Space Center. 'We didn't think we'd be able to hear the sonic boom. About two minutes later, we heard it outside and we’re more than halfway across Florida,' she said. Hawthorne lives in Houston, Texas, and is vacationing in Florida.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

My husband and I sat outside halfway across the state waiting for the re entry of the shuttle two minutes after the sonic boom it reached us with such force! The Shuttle program will be missed!           Jesse and Sherry
