Brescia set sights on Mississauga Eagles's Gregoire Akcelrod
The French striker has reportedly caught the attention of the Serie B outfit this summer.
According to OleOle, the former Cmwbran Town striker dropped down to Canadian Soccer League last winter after being released by Paris Saint Germain, but he quickly restored his reputation with a string of impressive performances for the Mississauga Eagles.
Brescia and Empoli are heading the list of potential suitors who are keeping tabs on Akcelrod, who has two years left on his contract.
Akcelrod failed to make a first-team appearance for Paris Saint Germain before joining Mississauga in 2011.
He penned a two-and-a-half-year contract in March, but could now be on his way to Italy less than five months into that agreement.
