St. George & St. Paul Islands

In the middle of the Berring Sea of Alaska are 2 remote and almost forgotten islands, St George and St Paul.   There are very few native Alaskan inhaditants left on the islands.   There are thousands of Northern Fir Seals which use the islands as breeding grounds and there are thousands of Puffins and other sea birds which inhabit the 300 foot cliffs which ring the islands.   The islands are hard to get to but worth the attempt given the unspoiled environment.   We vistied these islands for 2 days as part of an expedition in August, 2010.
