The Beautiful Face of Japans Future

While out in Tokyo’s Akihabara district and after checking out the advertising campaign for the new Tera interactive game I caught a glimpse of the most beautiful girl I have yet to see in Japan!  Almost like a beacon to the future she seemed to radiate Japans newly found aura of openness and friendliness that seems to have bloomed from the recent earthquake tragedy that the country has suffered.  Long known for their shyness, the people of Japan have undoubtedly opened up in response to the help that so many countries brought following the disaster.
Now, four months on and little remains to be seen in Tokyo of the tragedy!  There are still of course the signs that encourage energy saving in response to the reduction in electric production as a result of the Nuclear Disaster in Fukushima.  And of course, as a result there are far fewer lights being used everywhere in Tokyo now and the recommended setting for air conditioners this summer has been set at 28°, if they have to be used at all!
But without a doubt the most noticeable sign of change was the confident, warm and friendly smile that seems to be ever increasing in and around Japan!
