    Dallas' CNNIReport's Happy 5th Birthday Celebration! Aug. 2, 2011

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     photogirl777 says the got the entire restaurant into the excitement at their meetup in suburban Dallas. We appreciate them spreading the word.

    Mskents and I had a wonderful time celebrating CNNiReport's 5th birthday this evening!

     

    We met at Los Lupes Restaurant, in Addison, Texas.  We wore our CNNI birthday shirts, decorated our table with the beautiful red ballons, and had a cake, decorated by Albertson's bakery in Carrollton, Texas.  The cake lady had me stand as her "model" while she drew the birthday logo on the cake.

     

    The wait staff at Los Lupes, a family-owned Mexican restaurant for 40 years,  joined in the fun, filming with our cameras and watching us use our computers.  We ate delicious chicken fajitas, sang Happy Birthday, blew out the candles, and let the wait staff eat the entire cake!

     

    While we were partying, we got a call from David Williams of CNNi, wishing us a happy party, and then another CNNiReporter, Ron Cole, called from a business meeting in downtown Dallas.  He had planned to come, but was stuck in the meeting.  Thanks, David and Ron, for calling to celebrate with us.

     

    Lastly, we had a group of diners at the restaurant wish CNNI a happy birthday.

     

    We stayed in the restaurant after the party, and made this little iReport for you!  Hope you enjoy it!
