    Adrenaline inducing trip to Capetown, South Africa and it's surrounding areas

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     rduckwitz sends us these awesome photos of landscapes and wildlife from a trip he made to South Africa in December of 2010. He says, 'I think that the best part of my trip was doing and seeing things that you would normally only see on a T.V. show or documentary.'

    As for those great shots of lions and sharks, he says, 'I must say it was a pretty exhilarating and humbling experience being so close to these dangerous wild animals. You always have in the back of your mind that, if they felt so inclined, they could easily do some major damage to you.'

    From hiking up Lions Head and Table Top mountain to enjoy the views to shark diving off the shores of Gansbaai, my adventure had it all.  I got to swim and enjoy the beaches of Camps Bay and observe some beautiful sunsets.  I also managed to squeeze in a Safari where I saw elephants knocking over trees and I got up close and personal with a few Lion cubs.
