    Debt is the real problem...

    I wish that the focus of the discussion could be shifted away from a blame game to one that actually addresses the real problem:  DEBT!   The amount of interest we are spending each year on interest on the debt is about $500 Billion dollars ($500,000,000,000) per year.  This is not the payment to pay down the dept, this is the interest alone.   That is about $2500 for every man, woman, and child in the US today.

     

    Please, lets advance the conversation and have a real discussion to urge our government to stop spending and to get the debt problem back in control.
