    VI Festival Nacional de Danzón Oaxaca 2011

     

    Oaxaca, Méx.- Del 27 al 31 de julio, Oaxaca fue sede del VI Festival Nacional de Danzón Oaxaca 2011, con la participación de más de 300 músicos nacionales y locales.

     

    El evento se realiza cada año en el mes de julio en esa ciudad del sureste mexicano, y en esta ocasión se fusionó con las festividades de la Guelaguetza.

     

    El festival fue creado en 2005 por el periodista Luis Santiago (q.e.p.d) luego de una década de intensa promoción de este ritmo en la entidad.

     

    Actualmente el Festival Nacional de Danzón Oaxaca es uno de los principales espacios que mantiene vivo el danzón en la República Mexicana.

    Oaxaca, Mex .- 27 to July 31, Oaxaca hosted the VI National Festival of Oaxaca Danzon 2011, with the participation of over 300 national and local musicians.

     

    The event is held every year in July in the city of southeastern Mexico, and this time merged with the festivities of the Guelaguetza.

     

    The festival was created in 2005 by journalist Luis Santiago (RIP) after a decade of intense promotion of this rate in the state.

     

    Currently the National Festival of Danzon Oaxaca is one of the main venues that keeps alive the Danzon in Mexico.
