    Do Not Remake "Dirty Dancing"

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     There's been a lot of passionate response to the remake of 'Dirty Dancing.' Click here for more.
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

I am a huge fan of the movie "Dirty Dancing."  I along with over 14,000 people on Facebook are sad and or mad that Lionsgate has decided to do a remake of "Dirty Dancing."

I personally believe that it desecrates the memory of Patrick Swayze.

Kenny Ortega the originally choreographer has been tapped to direct the remake.  Jennifer Grey has tweeted that she believes he will do a great job.

I can't even believe that Grey is alright with this, considering her move not to dance to any of the songs on DWTS that she did with Swayze out of respect.

Here is the link to the official Facebook Page of "Dirty Dancing," so you can see the over 14,000 complaints so far.

There are already a few boycott pages on Facebook, including the new one I joined "Do Not Remake Dirty Dancing."

Please let your voices be heard that enough is enough to Hollywood remakes of classical movies.

    Thank you!
