This iReport is part of an assignment:
Race, politics and the White House |
Solution for Change President Charles R Newman and Vice President Condoleeza Rice
John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone. It was a US territory at the time he was born and his mother was a US citizen, so that does make Senator John McCain a US Citizen. As Pres. Bill Clinton pointed out, the US Constitution is very explicit on who is qualified to be US President. If you check out my firs announcement, I pointed out I met the requirements of the US Constitution as shown here.
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
This is the point I want to bring forth:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President
Sen. McCain might be old, but he is not that old (1789). The part of living in the US is simply there are natural born American citizens that live outside the US. If they return to the US, they just have to wait 14 years residing in the US.
With Sen. McCain being born in Panama to a US citizen makes him a US citizen, to be a natural born citizen you must have been born within the borders of the US. My son's mother is a Mexican citizen, but he was born here in the US. He is a natural born citizen of the US. He is not a natural born citizen of Mexico, although he is eligible to be a Mexican citizen, and I want him to choose that, but I want him to make that choice when he is 14.
My video will be produced this weekend making this sort of announcement. I would be very honored to have Sen. John McCain as my Chief of Staff, because by the Constitution, that might be as close as he gets to the White House. My Presidency can use someone an elder statesman and who has dealt with Congress by being part of Congress. Along with Sen. Obama and Sen. Clinton, we will make changes.
This is the exact reason why what anyone in the system has failed at everything they are proposing. They had the option of suggesting in the legislature everything they are now saying we need. If we needed it now, didn't we need it when they were in Congress which is up until Election Day?
Although I will be running as a Republican, my experience is in a highly political non-partisan organization. My first obligation is to America and I will do what is best for the USA. Remember, I am the only person to have had to go through most of the problems many Americans are facing. I am divorced, so that is 50% of Americans, I had a stroke that only affected my physical, my mental cognitively is 110%, after my stoke my job decided that since I cannot do the physical activities required, they let me go and I am going through vocational rehabilitation. What I am allowed to do is sitting down would be a good thing for me, and lift no more than 15 pounds. So a job that fits those requirements is the Presidency of the US.
I do understand exactly how the economy works, other than how Sen. Obama had to get 14 or so people with differing opinions to explain to him. I have written two papers for a Russian National Economic Conference at Vladimir State University in Vladimir, Russia. I know the Russian people better than Sen. Richard Lugar who spends a lot of time in Russia.
Working with the world on the world stage is they react to how things are presented to them, which is a very natural and understood statement. What we had in Iraq was we were looking for militants to kill because they were killing us. We need to be looking for peace and all of the people to be safe. Then we can take the troops home quickly.
Using an American show of force is something that needs to be used sometimes. My father once told people I made Ronald Reagan look like a liberal. I will use troops as a last resort, but I will have other countries in cooperation with the actions we, as a nation, are doing for humanity.
We, as a nation, will regain our respect and dignity in this world as the leader of freedom and peace under my Presidency. I only want to be a one term President, because historically the Secretary of State became Vice President and then President. That is why I am asking for Condoleezza Rice to accept my offer to be my Vice Presidential running-mate to be the President in 2013.
This is enough before it gets too long to read. Be looking for my video announcement on Sunday August 24.
Charles R Newman
Future US President 2009-2013
Some of my other thoughts that make me up as a human.
I agree with what you are saying, and the economy started its decline after the Democrats took control of Congress. Coincidence? Your Choice.
I believe American should first work on America, after knowing we are doing a good job, then move our resources to help other countries, but always keep our eyes on America. This weekend you will see my video release. I will not tell you anymore on it. Just look for it and be amazed. Take a look at some of my writings which were similar to what is discussed here.
