    Hiking & Road Trips

    In order to unplug I love to go hiking in the rural forests of the Eifel region in Germany. I want to be surrounded by natural quiet. When I lived in the US I enjoyed road trips in my little Ford Ranger trucks. Just driving down little country roads and backroads looking for old-fashioned places like vacant country homes and churches, state parks, Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds or historic sites. It was exciting to discover new places.
