I have constantly heard the solution to the debt is to tax the rich.  But I have never heard of Democrats mention the remaining 49% that do not pay Federal income tax. Why……well it must be that they and their membership are a majority of the 50%. Obama always screams about what is fair and equitable.  Well me paying 28% and 50% paying nothing or worse than nothing …getting additional money back….is not fair. Stop all the exemptions and loop holes including the ones that deal out money at tax time. Maybe 9% are unemployed, maybe another 9% below poverty but the remaining 30% need to pay something.  They were here for the collapse, they were part of it, they get services……….so they need to pay. Once the money is collected, then entitlements should be  budgeted as a percent of the money collected. You could never run a business without making sure all the money gets into the register and you certainly don’t start paying employees out of the register…….so you can’t run a government that way either.
