    Tornado less than 1.5 miles away from campsite!

    While camping in Park County, Colorado at Eleven Mile Lake, I was

    lucky enough to witness a tornado less than 1.5 miles from where my

    tent was set up. The tornado last for about twenty minutes and I

    was able to catch a fair amount of it before all campers were

    called to the park shelter. Fortunately, no one was seriously

    injured; however, there was serious damage to some campers and

    boats during the tornado.
