    Right now Gustav trasformed into hurricane cat. 1 and is aproaching  the coast  of Pedernales. Pedernales is at the south west of Santo Domingo (120 miles aprox.) and is a zone with very poor people. Pedernales is in the border with Haiti and we expecting big floods and  overflown rivers. No fatalities reported from local media and ememergency authority.

    From Santo Domingo this afternoon at Av. Gustavo Mejía Ricart. After strong rain, thunders and lighting.
