Tree uprooted from stump by IRENE and fell on vehicle
- addavenport, CNN iReport producer
The first picture is a couple years ago when we had high winds in Central Virginia and a tree fell on the back of our house and the rest of the pictures are from today when windstorm came through Altavista VA and uprooted this tree from the stump and it fell on our Tahoe. Luckily nobody was in the vehicle but we are just devastated. We keep having bad luck and it is sickening. I know there are a lot of people having major issues with the storm but it seems we have bad luck with trees. This was the last tree we had in our yard and this happened. We are just devastated that we had a tree on our house a couple years ago in August of 2009 and now in August of 2011 a tree was uprooted by the wind and fell on our family vehicle. Luckily we owned it and had full coverage but still.
