    Asbury Park beachfront get battered by Irene

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Hotel employee Fuscarino told me, 'We're just seeing massive waves take away our boardwalk. Last night our building was leaking bad and we were mopping up the water but it was coming in faster than we could get it out. The winds are blasting against the building. It's scary at times but right now it's bearable.'

    It's been less than 24 hours and the Asbury Park beachfront is, well, gone. As you can see in this video massive 15 foot waved plunge the boardwalk. At this point there is no one down in this area except police personal and news stations.
