Albanian Minerals & Bytyci SHPK has already built the infrastructure and has started mining chrome ore and other ores on five locations in Tropja.
Albanian Minerals company has already finished all of the road projects in Vlad, Pac, and three locations in Zogaj,Tropoje.
Also we finished repairing the road from Zogaj to Kosovo's border.
Albanian Minerals & Bytyci SHPK is now finally mining chrome ore in the Hija e Bushit.
The Zogaj project is the largest open pit mine in Europe.
Also in the Zogaj, Tropoje area Albanian Minerals & Bytyci SHPK has started mining underground in Traverbank which is currently the largest mine in the country.
In The Zogaj, Tropoje, Albanian Minerals has started open pit mining in another two locations.
In the district of Pac,Tropoja, Albanian Minerals & Bytyci SHPK has finished the mining tunnel which is the largest underground tunnel in Europe.
Chrome ore production in the Pac district is estimeted to start in 3 months.
This location has the richest chrome content in the world from 54% - 65% Cr.
In the Town of Vlad, Albanian Minerals & Bytyci SHPK have finished the open pit project and started extracting a very high grade chrome ore and magnesium.
Also in the town of Vlad, Albanian Minerals & Bytyci SHPK has started building the largest chrome ore factory and processing plant in Europe.
This plant will start production in 2012 and will produce the richest chrome concentrate in the world.
Albanian Minerals President and CEO said that Albanian Minerals will make Tropoje the main mining district in Europe
Albanian Minerals has doubled the workforse in 2011 and is planing to increase 200% more jobs in 2012.
