Never seen footage from Ground Zero (Part 4)
Church Sector near Ten House. It has become painfully obvious to everyone working the pile that no one else will be found alive at the World Trade Center site. The mood has changed, although rescuers are still going at it feverishly.
The really heavy equipment, 50 story cranes, are brought in and being assembled at Ground Zero. Their appearance signals that the large scale recovery effort will soon be abandoned.
Along West Street, dozers have uncovered a numbers of bodies and personal belongings. A probationary firefighters checks a wallet for ID -- finds none -- and tosses it into the dumpster marked "evidence."
In a few days times, the tens of thousands who worked here will be reduced to a crew of just 16 firefighters.
