The Family Guy
Here in Mahogany Phase 2 Cabuyao Philippines thereis this man called "Mang Kiko" a Ihaw-ihaw(grilled over coal food) Vendor. I remember it was March 1999 when I first saw “Mang Kiko” make his living by marketing his ihaw-ihaw to many Hungry Pinoys.
13 years had passed and he still do what he does back then, made his fortune on what he does best. Mang Kiko strive so hard for his Family, on his way to Forty’s but still he strive so hard to support the need of his Family like Food, Shelter, Clothing and the Education of his two siblings(now both in 3rd year High School). People of Mahogany Village Phase 2 always enjoyed every single bite they made in every purchase of Mang Kiko’s Ihaw-ihaw. Philippines changed its Presidents from Ramos and now to Aquino but yet Mang Kiko remains the same. Still strive so hard to fulfill the need of his Family not earning that much but he always make it to the point that as long as he can pay the Bills, Rent of their House, Tuition of his Siblings and his Family eat 3 times a day daily with he’s hard earn money even though he doesn’t earn that much he’s happy.
