    Sand plowed and piled up like snow from Irene In Vermont

    Artist Barre Pinske documents Irene's aftermath showing his friend Lee Whiting plowing sand on Mackenzie field in Chester VT. The two were working to prepare the field for the Big Buzz chainsaw carving festival held the last week in Sept. first Weekend  in Oct. Sand up to 24" deep was deposited from the overflow of the Williams River.
