    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     This video and interview is for arrrrdubs story on a generation plagued by unemployment and underemployment.

    Here you can find my submission for this week - a video interview that I conducted. I tried to include feedback from the past few weeks when shooting this interview.

     

    Percey Von Lipinski suggested I reach out to as many out-of-work young people as I can, engaging each individual in sharing his or her story. Bridget, the woman featured in this interview, is an excellent example of this. She's a college graduate who spent the early part of her career working for AmeriCORPS. Despite her year of service dedicated to helping disadvantaged youth, she is now underemployed and is working a job that falls below her education and exerience level. Despite this, she still is hopeful and inspired by the possibilities the future holds.
