This iReport is part of an assignment:
Things to do before you die |
If not today, when?
This is my first experience as an "ireporter." But, I found that the other bloggers' life stories were fairly interesting, so I wanted to share my own.
I graduated a year early from college in May 2008, and I just turned 21 this past month. Let me see if I can blow you away with what I've done.
1) Walked along the Great Wall of China in Beijing... after spendig a month in Shanghai.
2) Looked upon Paris from the height of the Eiffel Tower.
3) I spent a month in India and I luckily was able to play cricket with same locals.
4) Traveled to Cairo, Egypt completely alone to see the Great Pyramids of Giza.
5) Lived in Costa Rica for a half year. While there I horseback rode to an exploding volcano and zip-lined through the jungle.
6) Ate brats and saw the Christmas festival in Munich, Germany.
7) Jumped off a cliff into a river in the South of France near Avignon, Nice, and Cannes. Then took a train to Monaco.
8) Gazed upon the Acropolis and the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Then boarded a ferry to Santorini Island.
9) Explored the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland after a few pints in Dublin and a busride. Then, kissed the Blarney Stone for luck near Cork, Ireland.
10) Rode the river in London to get a view of Parliment and Shakespeare's theater.
11) Dined in Barcelona, Spain. Then sunned on a nude beach.
12) Watched wild dolphins play in Panama's Bocas del Toro bay after snorkling there.
13) Toured Chichenitza ruins in Mexico.
14) Admired the Vatican in Rome and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
15) USA: Sky-dove in Colorado for my 19 birthday. I've visited the Grand Canyon, Nantucket, Yosemite, Mt. Rushmore, NYC, Boston, Hawaii, L.A., Skiied all around Utah and Colorado, and some other places not worth mentioning.
Now my goal is to relax, take one day at time, and go to grad school. My next trips will be to Peru, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Japan...
