    9/11 Memorial First Photos

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     NYMETSFAN visited the newly unveiled 9/11 memorial on Tuesday, September 13. ' It was worth the wait,' he said. 'I hope each person that visits finds what they were looking for whether it's closure, peace, comfort or knowledge of what happened on 9/11.'

    Visiting the 9/11 Memorial today meant stepping back into one of my all time favorite places that's been forbidden for over a decade. I knew exactly where to sit even though my bench was long gone.
