Korean Dharma Descendant of the Buddha Visits 9/11 Memorial

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MYLKmedia shot this video yesterday of the Korean Dharma Buddhist Master Jinje leading monks in a prayer procession at the 9/11 memorial in New York City. 'As soon as Master Jinje learned he would travel to NY, he asked if he could personally pay respects at the 9/11 site,' he said. 'There is a saying that this prayer is so powerful it causes the dead to cry with tears of happiness. Yesterday, as Master Jinje was finishing this chant, for just a moment, the skies opened up and giant raindrops fell.'

This afternoon, guests touring the newly opened National September 11th Memorial saw an unusual sight -- the greatest living master of Korean Seon (Zen), and the 79th Dharma Descendant of the Buddha, leading his monks in a chant of remembrance at Ground Zero. When Seon Master Jinje learned he was going to make an historic visit to NY to speak at the Riverside Church in NYC, he requested to also pay respects to those who perished at Ground Zero.  Master Jinje is Enlightened in the tradition of the Buddha and is speaking on Thursday evening, September 15th to an expected audience of 2000 about his 800-year-old form of "questioning meditation" called Ganhwa Seon (Korean Zen).
