BYU Fans Turnover On Their Own Team
After the heated rivalry game between U of U Utes and BYU Cougars, known as the "Holy War", BYU fans in Provo UT are "turningover" on their team.
The local Arby's restaurant put up an advertisement after the game saying : "Bring in BYU ticket stub for a free turnover". Rather hurtful to the town's team seeing as they had 7 turn overs... which in itself is highly embarrassing.
"Even when you're a much better team than your opponent when you turn it over seven times you put the game at risk," BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall said. "If the teams are close, seven turnovers is very difficult to overcome. And so, overreacting? There's no one that's more urgent or wants the team to perform at a higher level than I do and our coaching staff."
