This iReport is part of an assignment:

    No bread in Baton Rouge!

Five days before expected landfall of Hurricane Gustav, the bread is running out in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. No bread, no water, no ramen noodles, no spaghetti-ohs, no batteries, no flashlights. It is a great sign that the supplies are running low, people are getting prepared!!

LSU is standing ready to assist with a special medical needs shelter and the Stephenson Disaster Management Insitute (from LSU) is situated at various emergency operations centers around Baton Rouge. I'm thankful that nearly everyone is heeding the lessons learned the hard way nearly 3 years ago to the day. God help Louisiana as we await Gustav!
