On February 25, 1992, the country is named the Republic of Bashkortostan. As you notice, it is not the "Autonomous Republic", but the republic, thus officializing its sovereignty against the Kremlin.
On March 31, 1992, Russian powerful forces corrupt Bashkir leaders and make them accept against their will the Russian power over Bashkortostan.
Public Movement "K Y Y K B RE", representing the national interests Bashkirs living on the territory of Bashkortostan and Russia, calls from the Kremlin to ensure the right of the people of the republic on self-determination.
Integrated by force to the Russian empire, Moscow has kept a policy of enslaving the Bashkir people and Russifying the centuries-old Bashkir culture, making thousands of Bashkirs leave their ancestors' land.
It is now time for Bashkortostan to regain its independence and sovereignty. Russia cannot keep enslaving the Bashkir people for ever! People, reclaim what is yours. That is: Freedom!
