Association of Fire Sword (Croatian, Udruga Ognjeni Mac) is an organization that deals with LARP (Live Action RolePlaying) in Croatia. They are making authentical medieval costumes and weapons and meet where they play LARP battles. LARP is considerd as a game where each individual selects and creates a character he would like to play, he also creates his life story, their flaws, virtues and world views. LARP characters can belong to any period of time even though most popular is fantasy setting in which characters are modeled by fantasy medieval based on Tolkien, although quite different from his Middle-earth.

These are the photos from their last meeting in Park Maksimir, Zagreb. Usually they have camping events which include several days of camping and revival of their created characters where, as they say, everything is possible. Weapons (mostly swords) are made of sponge, so there is no danger of getting injured.
