    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     marmot is a nature photogapher in Lake City, Colorado, and says the fall colors are at their peak. He says the trees changed about a week later than normal because it's been warm this year. He used HDR photography to capture the range of color in the mountains.

    I took this photo on September 26 as the fall weather turned the Aspens into golden hues. The San Juan mountains

    in Hinsdale County, Colorado are one of the best places

    in the USA for spetacular fall folliage color.
