Havoc and Donor Fatigue - Pakistan Floods 2011

Once again, Pakistan has been affected by floods - only this time the flood partnered with monsoon rains wreaked such havoc that the province of  Sindh's entire agriculture based economy collapsed due to the damage to crops. The damage is more intense and widespread than last year, but unfortunately due to the lack of importance given to the issue domestically and internationally - there are not enough people reaching out to help. Flood affectees are dying everyday due to malnutrition and disease. As seen above, children are suffering the most and losing their battle to survive in these tough conditions.
