    Gulf Coast EYELESS Shrimp Anyone?

    This picture was taken near Grand Isle, La a few days ago by local shrimpers. For 6 months now, shrimp have been found to have no eyes. Many shrimp people buy are already headless, so they would never even see the heads of them. These are being sold? I hope not..

     

    A local shrimper posted this, "I can say that I haven't seen  anything like this before.My family has been commercial fisherman for 5  generations near Grand Isle and I was a fisherman right out of high  school."

     

    Due to the location and recent events, this photographer wishes to remains anonymous out of fear.
