Who should be McCain's running mate?

    More from BeantownGal

    Mike Huckabee for VP!

I would LOVE to see John McCain choose Mike Huckabee for his running mate. I think it would balance out McCain's semi liberal policies, and help build support back up from the conservative base.

The fact that Huckabee hung in there as long as he did (some can call him a spoiler for Romney, but I think it's just that people can see through Romney's crap!) shows that he can win the southern states, which is what McCain would need for a win. I'm not convinced that Romney can win those states for McCain.

Huckabee clearly did not get as much news coverage as the other candidates, but I think his message of OPTIMISIM, values, pro family,  pro life, and pro RESPONSIBILITY are firm enough that he wouldn't need to question his beliefs based on which party he is in.

I'm so sick of hearing democrats say that they are all for the sancity of life, but that it's a woman's right to choose. And people can argue with me all day on this one. They're giving a right to MURDER an innocent child to someone who may not be in their right mind. To a scared 16 year old who thinks it's her only choice, because society puts it out there.

To a mother of two already, who is afraid that the family's salary cannot support another baby. Because SOCIETY continually reminds us of the cost of raising children, not the benefits!

And the sancity of marriage, well that just makes me cringe all together. If Barack is president, there is no doubt that this country will go from allowing gays to marry in MA and CA, to nationwide. Mike Huckabee would work to defend the sancity of marriage to the union of ONE MAN, and ONE WOMAN.

It's not rocket science people, but ultimately marriage, rather sex, was intended for pro creation, which without artificial means is impossible for gay couples. I'll digress.

Mike Huckabee knows how to lead in a bipartison state, (Arkansas) and I believe he'll be a strong addition to the white house.

Also, McCain only has two months. I don't believe he can count on Ridge or Lieberman, or even Romney to give him the push that he needs to get more support. Two of them are unknowns to many, and first time around Huckabee won the support of the conservative base over Romney.

And laslty, Huckabee can debate! Every topic, with anyone. He's so set in his beliefs, that he doesn't need to go looking for a teleprompter. He knows what he wants to say, and he gets his message accross when he does it.

    Senator McCain:

Please choose Mike Huckabee as your running mate. The reprocutions if you choose someone who is pro choice will no doubt lose the founding base of the republican party. I know you're all about bipartisonship, but chosing someone pro choice is the wrong way to go about it. Good luck.
