This iReport is part of an assignment:
Steve Jobs and you |
Apple Has Lost Its Core
Arguably, everyone has at least one thing in/at which they excel. Some call it a "talent." Individuals like Steve Jobs rise above the pack because their talents are accompanied by brilliance.
I can name a few brilliant people who have passed away in recent years, but neither of them has impacted this nation and the world in the manner in which Steve Jobs has.
Over the years, we watched Steve Jobs on a stage, in front of a screen - time and time again - revealing one ground-breaking product after another.
Jobs literally put the world at our fingertips.
When someone as brilliant as Jobs passes away, the nation and the world suffers an immeasurable loss.
I have no doubt that Apple will continue to produce products that
are the future of technology, but the core of Apple is gone - much too soon.
I still have my blue Apple iMac, and will cherish it forever.
Rest in peace, Steve Jobs.
