CNN PRODUCER NOTE     setusfree sends us these photos from the Occupy Wall Street march in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday, October 5. She says: 'I was quite prepared to see a lot of kooky people. However, I saw only a a little bit of that. What I really saw was this large crowd that looked overwhelming "normal". [...] The most memorable thing for me was wandering through Zuccotti Park, just looking at their faces, and thinking that the people struck me as good, decent, friendly citizens.'
    - elchueco, CNN iReport producer

NYC-  Photographs of the crowd at Zuccotti Park as they began their march to the Courthouses at Foley Square. They appear to look like average Americans of all ages and walks of life. The peaceful nature of the crowd is indicated in their walk past the police officers ringing Zuccotti Park.  Overhead at the Protest: "The NYPD is here to protect us";   "Keeping our sense of humor is important, its really all we have, after so many days and nights....and so many negative reports in the media";  "Officer, would you like some water?",  and "my whole family is here".
