This iReport is part of an assignment:
Steve Jobs and you |
apple's Steve Jobs increased our productivity
(ATLANTA, Ga.) -- Whether awaking to start the morning with your favorite music on iTunes to planning the day ahead with iCal, Steve Jobs and apple reinvented the way the world works.
The first phone to use video conferencing in the United States with a special application, the iPhone 4 has been my phone of choice.
As a reporter moving around in remote spots, the iPhone has allowed quicker access as I record news changing images and upload them in an instant.
The array of special applications which apple approves allow many of us to perform jobs while on the go and away from the office.
In fact, I spoke to astronaut Ron Garan as he orbited 225 miles above earth aboard the International Space Station from an iPhone at the Johnson Space Center.
I sync my iPhone with my apple iMac allowing a personal network to transfer files for backup or to retrieve them while away.
I was in a remote area of Florida last year working on a story, and my iPhone allowed me to collect information and video -- all in a single, pocket size device.
At home, I create and edit movies on my iMac with iMovie and then upload them to my social media.
Jobs' leadership at Apple changed the way myself and the world communicate in the 21st century.
