If you ran government |
If I ran the government...
In today's soceity there are many individuals who may not be satified with how our federal Government has been managing the polices. If I would run the government,i would only make minor changes in how our nation is run. For example I would reduce the amount of federal spending on the national defence because although it provides security for our nation, some of the money can be invested on other things that in the future will benifit our country more like education. I would give more money to the school, inorder to be able to provide a better education for everyone. I would also allow the states to have more power to be able to regulated polices like abortion and gay marriges not leave it to the federal government. I would not cut any programs that are provided by the federal government only make minor changes. For example i could change the fundings on Welfare by making it a bit more difficult for people to get welfare benifit. Due to the fact that there are some people who only take advantage of this benifits, when they are not in the need for the help. Which can keep others who are i need because of the lack of money. I would also try to create a immigrantion reform that would allows for illegal immagrants to have the same rights as citizens. For example giving undocemented students the right to get financial aid to be able to pay for college. I would try to created more jobs inorder to reduce the defist the governemwnt is in and lower the unemployment rate in the Country. In my opinion the best way to solve a gird lock in the government would be to for evey branch of the government have a compromise on policies they have different perspective on . Overall not everyone will be satified with how the government is mangage, therfore comprise has to exits inorder to have a balance government.
