    Biggest Loser Philippine Edition Grand Finale


    The Grand Finale of the first season of The Biggest Loser *Pinoy Edition was held tonight, October 8, 2011 (Manila Time) at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.


    Larry Martin (picture #3), a wildcard contestant, was held as the very first Pinoy Biggest Loser with a total weight loss of 101 pounds from his starting weight of 255 pounds, or 39.61% total weight loss percentage. Larry took home 22,878USD (PhP 1,000,000), a codominium unit, a scooter, a 40-inch Sony Bravia Internet TV, Whirlpool appliances and a lifetime gym membership from Fitness First. Larry will also be the coverboy for the November issue of Men's Health Philippines. The other four finalists received 11,439USD (PhP 500,000) each

    Here is the total ranking of the Top Five Finalists:

    1. Larry – 39.61% (101 pounds lost)
    2. Art – 37.33% (129 pounds lost)
    3. Raffy – 34.37% (100 pounds lost)
    4. Angela – 33.8% (75 pounds lost)
    5. Hazel – 33.01% (68 pounds lost)
