    Occupy Boston : One Week and Going Strong

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     shinster shot this photo of the tent city that has formed as part of the ongoing Occupy Boston protest, now in its second week. He describes the protesters as people of 'all ages, colors, ethnicity. High school kids actually came to talk to us during the general assembly,' he said. He notes that 'each "Occupy" group is trying to consolidate their demands. Occupy Boston holds a nightly assembly at 7pm every day to do just that.'

    Today marks the one week anniversary of Occupy Boston. Hundreds of protesters have been camping at Dewey Square, across the street from Federeal Reserve Bank  in downtown Boston.

    Occupy Boston is an offshoot movement of Occupy Wall Street. The group held a public assembly at Boston Common park a few days prior to beginning an occupation at Dewey Square on September 30, 2011, and have vowed to stay indefinitely. Nearly two dozen  protesters were arrested last week when they blocked an entrance to the Bank of America building nearby.
