Not a Fancy Person
I am a person who is not fond of fancy stuff. If something still serves its purpose, I won’t get rid of it. A classic example is this phone I currently use.
This phone has been with me more than 4 years now. Somehow, it still works, and still serves my need for calls and texts.
My friends tell me to change its cover so at least it would look nice. I intentionally don’t want to do it because I often joke that with the look of my phone, it wouldn’t be prone to snatching or stealing.
I don’t keep up with new technology. I have my own vice like my travels, that I believe are worth spending my money. You may call me thrifty or conservative, but it’s just the way I am.
I am holding on to my busted up phone, until it finally gives up on me.
