Freedom Tower Shining Down on Occupy Wall Streeters

Friday October 7,  the Occupy Wall Street crowd was happy, there was dancing and music.  Across the street at Harry Helmsley Plaza, religious services were being held outdoors for Yom Kippur.  Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year in the Jewish faith, and the ceremony was held outdoors in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street.  The World Trade Center's Freedom Tower is a block away from Zuccotti Square and the Occupy Wall Street protesters.  The Freedom Tower is still under construction, and its completed floors light up the night sky.

The Freedom Tower,  seen in the photos,  is shining down on the people of Occupy Wall Street.  Freedom is the heart of the protest at Zuccotti Park.  Freedom from the economic tyranny perpetrated against hard working citizens and tax payers, who footed the bill for the bailouts, saving the global economy. The Freedom Towers shining down on this group of people so committed to being heard that they are sleeping  outdoors, was really the best backdrop Occupy Wall Street could have asked for.  It doesn't get any  better than that.
